If your district uses Skyward Qmlativ Time Tracking, you’re in luck, VirtuaTime™ is built for you. It works on Google Chromebooks, Apple Tablets, and Android Tablets, as long as those devices are dedicated to running the app.
How it Works
VirtuaTime™ Clocking-in Screen
Getting started is pretty straightforward. You’ll need a Mobile Device Management (MDM) system in place, but once that’s set up, you’re good to go. The app runs in landscape mode and gives a clean, simple interface for employees to enter their PIN, clock in and out, change job codes, or submit timesheets. No tech headaches, no steep learning curve.
One thing to keep in mind: VirtuaTime™ doesn’t support peripheral readers like proximity or biometric scanners. If those features interest you, check out our Time Clock devices, which are available for both Skyward SMS 2.0 and Skyward Qmlativ.

What makes VirtuaTime™ really shine is that it syncs with Skyward Time Tracking in real time. Employees aren’t logging in directly to Skyward to clock-in, which adds a nice extra layer of security. It’s also a flexible solution for any off-site time reporting scenarios.
The whole experience is as simple as it sounds: walk up, enter your PIN, clock-in, and you’re done. That’s it!
