Spring is here and it’s time to start preparing for those summer technology implementations. With new and exciting security products, such as our Visitor Management system with an exclusive Skyward integration, now is a good time to look at solutions to tighten your district’s security for next school year. Here are general guidelines for any school looking to make it’s technology implementation as smooth as possible:

  • Assign one or two people in the district as the project heads so there is a clear point of contact for everyone as new technology is rolled out. This helps ensure accurate information is given.
  • Have a general idea of the implementation timeline prior to the initial setup. Note that some implementations will take multiple meetings to complete, so have a clear understanding of when a final product can be rolled out, as well as when your district wants it rolled out.
  • Wait to submit tech forms until you have all of the needed information.
  • Make note of everyone who will be using the product, so they can be present for training or receive documentation on product operation.
